My Face Actually Hurts

I slept at a weird angle last night and my tooth is killing me. I need to go buy some oral care gel to make it numb. Numbing away any sort of pain is the only way to get past that type of thing in life.

I love stuff flying at my face

I went to see Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D today, and had a ton of fun watching it. I really hope that they make more movies in 3D, and not just kids movies. All types of movies would be fun in 3D. Plus, they give you these snazzy glasses to wear, which makes it all the more awesome.

And thankfully Brendan Fraser was fun in this film, since the most recent Mummy movie was total garbage, and a complete waste of my time. The rest of the supporting cast was fun as well, making this decent action adventure kids film better than most, and even better once all sorts of junk was popping at my face. That being said, I dont think I could watch this movie again, unless it was in 3D on a big screen again.

Bite Me!

About 5 or 6 days ago I was bitten by a spider or some sort of other creature, or else just acquired some sort of weird infection on my skin. Unfortunately this is located on the side of my chest, just below my armpit. What started out looking like a pimple soon began to fade away, and I payed no attention to it for a couple of days. Then after a day of moving boxes back and forth for our garage sale, as well as intermittently playing the drums, the site began throbbing with pain, and was very warm to the touch. This is what it looked like:

So after trying to get an appointment to see a doctor this coming week, I was advised by an on call nurse to go to urgent care within the next few hours, so I went into LA to our insurance's medical centers and got in line to see a doctor, of which there were people in line for 2 and 1/2 hours at that point. However, I guess the nature of my problem is more serious than most, as I was into see a doctor in about 25 minutes, which made most people in the waiting room pretty angry (or so I hear, I didn't see them, but my girlfriend Kirsten said she got dirty looks, haha). In the end the doctor didnt really know what caused it and prescribed me some antibiotics, and took some samples in case is was a type of staff infection that has been going around.

And low and behold after only a few pills and about 24 hours later, the wound exploded in the shower, forcing me to clean up about a 5 tablespoons of nasty pus and blood from our tub. What a mess. That did mean that the would not have to cut it open which is good. Now all I have left to deal with is an oozing sore.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you all just ate something.
